This product comes from Huai'an, Jiangsu, China, which is renowned for its high-quality standards, vacuum manufacturing processes, and abundant mineral salt resources, collectively known as Huai'an salt.
 

Food-grade calcium chloride is a white, powdery or flaky substance with no odor, a slight bitterness, and extremely hygroscopic properties. It is highly sensitive to moisture and readily deliquesces when exposed to air. It dissolves easily in water, with the resulting solution being clear and transparent. Additionally, its dissolution is highly exothermic. Food-grade calcium chloride can also dissolve in alcohols, acetone, acetic acid, and other solvents.

The applications of food-grade calcium chloride in food processing include: improving dough elasticity, preserving food freshness, enhancing texture, dairy product processing, and alcoholic beverage production.
